Reflection week is over. And whilst the trains I’m taking slowly make their ways back to the ancient beauty of Maastricht and to the new quiver of being home, there is time to get back again to the social life.
And in the meantime, profile pictures changed. Stories were told and stories were recorded. Some say FOMO is a thing. I believe, that who we belong to matters more to us than what we do (or don’t do). Thus, the fear of not belonging; the fear of missing out on people.
Reflection week is over. And whilst the digital life may seem slow and simply boring in comparison to others’, that may be the proof that you’re a member of other social groups; of other families surrounding you this week. How much we’re shifting towards the Maastricht side of us maybe remains as our very personal challenge; overreflecting being the only danger. See you tomorrow ?
